Hidden Gem is a semi-abstract landscape painted in watercolour and oil pastel.
In the process of creating these paintings for this body of work, I began to discover hidden boltholes and hideouts within the brushstrokes. This hidden gem revealed itself against the backdrop of landscape behind it, and was brought to life with fine liner pen and oil pastel to give the painting depth and texture.
